The smelting factory of the Yehuda Group engages in the smelting of processed steel scrap and is the first station in the overall process of production of steel rebars, alongside the smelting factory and the casting factory in the Micromil Factory of the group. The smelting of steel scrap into molten steel is done in a special oven at a temperature of 1600°C, by means of electrical electrodes. At the end of the process, the molten steel is sent to the next stations for the production of ribbed steel rebars.
