The Welded Mesh Factory

In the Yehuda Welded Mesh factory, steel welded welded mesh are manufactured for building and infrastructures. Since the foundation of Yehuda Welded Mesh in 1974 the factory has invested in modern equipment for the production of a wide range of straight and bent Welded mesh for the building industry, for infrastructures, for fences and for elements. Use of a variety of types of welded mesh permits increased efficiency, savings, and advancing the finishing date of the projects.

The Welded Mesh Factory

The welded mesh factory of the Yehuda Group in Ashdod is one of the largest factories in Israel for the production of welded mesh for reinforced concrete and meshes for fences. The factory leads with the most modern equipment in the world and produces a great variety of types of welded mesh and elements bent from welded mesh − an innovation in the field of steel for reinforced concrete. Use of steel welded mesh has led to reduction of construction time and to consistent improvement in quality.

Production of elements made from welded mesh that arrive directly to the building site ensures a reduction of construction time, manpower savings − few workers are required to put an element in place, orderly working on the site − production of an element without waste, accurate working − the advantage of production in the factory and not on the site, and re-allocation of the crane for additional tasks.

In the factories of the group quality control is currently carried out as well as testing of all the production processes − starting from the order of the raw materials and ending with shipment of the welded mesh. The structure and characteristics of the welded mesh are specified in Israeli Standard IS 4644 Parts 4 and 5 and also the quality control system is qualified for ISO 9002.
